Paul has over 30 years of west coast technology banking experience and has completed over 150 transactions in his career. He focuses on providing M&A advisory services for software, services and internet companies. Paul started his career at Robertson Stephens and has also worked at Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Perella Weinberg and Moelis & Company.
Paul has a BA from UC Berkeley and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
Gary Kiang, CFA – Senior Partner
Gary has spent over 25 years in investment management and investment banking with extensive experience in financing, structuring and restructuring private-equity backed and strategic acquisitions across a wide range of industries. Most recently, Gary was a fixed income portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton and previously worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch. Gary has a BS and MBA in Finance from the Wharton School and a BS in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
David Rye – Senior Partner
Dave has been a senior executive at three successful enterprise software companies – Hyperion, Informatica, and Blue Yonder -- all of which were $1B in revenue and ultimately sold in multi-billion dollar exit transactions. He has experience driving growth & value creation as both a public and a private equity-backed executive. Dave has spent $1.5B buying or investing in over 40 domestic & multinational companies as an operating executive or principal investor. He started his career at Robertson, Stephens & Co., where he completed over 30 transactions, and worked for Atlas Ventures and Thayer Capital. Dave has also served as a board director for both public and private companies. He holds an AB from Princeton and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Gambhir Kaushek – Senior Partner
Gam has over 30 years of real estate investing and advisory experience across most major US markets. He has invested or advised across a wide range of property-related companies and in real assets in the hospitality, office, multi-family and retail sectors. He has led transactions in excess of $3 billion of value in the past 15 years alone with leadership roles at major companies including Morgan Stanley, DivcoWest and ProspectHill Group. Gam has a BS from Georgetown University and MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
